We are extremely happy to announce that our third album, 'the Menagerie Inside' will be released on September 4th through Monotreme Records. A European tour and series of live videos will also be announced here on our website and on our social media pages in the run up to the release. Described as "chiming vocal-led post-rock", Midas Fall have carved a unique sound, combining elements of electronica, post-rock and alt-goth to create "powerful yet fragile, devastatingly beautiful and beautifully devastating" music (Founder Magazine).
2015 will see Midas Fall release their third album on Monotreme Records accompanied by a full European tour.
Squeeee! Saturday 30th May we'll be playing our first Manchester show in over a year as part of the Indie Week Festival.

We'll be unveiling a few new tracks from our forthcoming album 'the Menagerie Inside' - set for release later this year on Monotreme Records - as well as a few oldies. It'll be our last show in Manchester for a while, but we will be back in the North West on Saturday 6th June at the Ferret in Preston - entry to this show is free (hurrah!) and support comes from the wonderful Monsters as Humans and Ark - it's also Pedro's birthday, so feel free to bring gifts - cigarettes, cakes, biscuits and boobs are particularly welcome.
We're delighted to let you all know that our next UK show will be at the Blue Room in Blackpool on April 25th with fellow Monotremers Stearica. Our other scheduled UK dates is at the Ferret in Preston on Saturday June 6th and will be organised by the lovely folks at Picturesound. There are currently a couple of other UK shows in the pipeline, which will be announced over the coming weeks.
Work on our third album is edging ever closer to completion, in fact the whole shebang will be done and dusted by mid-April - hurrah! We've also got a very special mastering engineer on board...track previews and full tour details will be posted here and on our social media channels over the coming months. It's been an absolute eon since our last blog post, since our last update we've done a mini Balkans tour, written and recorded our third album and are now in the process of planning our next European shindig.

Howdy folks, it has been a while since our last post, but since our November tour we've been quietly beavering away on putting together our third album and booking our first shows of 2014.
Our first show of the year will be at the Blue Room in sunny Blackpool, Pedro's home town. In April we are planning some very special shows in mainland Europe...watch this space (especially all you Greek peeps).
Finally, we've got some brand spanking new Tshirts available from our webstore, very kindly modelled by Le Serj of Romanian alt-rock outfit Pretty Visitors, who supported us in Iasi, Romania last November. Also available from our webstore is our latest EP release 'Fluorescent Lights' as well as our 2013 album 'Wilderness' and 2010 debut 'Eleven. Return and Revert'.

The follow-up release to our second album 'Wilderness' is finally out on Monotreme Records - hurrah! You can download it from the vast majority of digital reteailers, including iTunes, Amazon and the Android Play Store.
The EP is also available as a limited edition CD only from the Monotreme Records webstore or directly from the band at one of our upcoming European shows.
At our shows we will also have a limited run of 'Fluorescent Lights' themed t-shirts as well as CD copies of our debut album 'Eleven. Return and Revert' and sophomore LP 'Wilderness' as well as stickers and badges, so you decorate yourself like a Midas Fall Christmas tree, lovely.

Following on from a fantastic weekend at LodeStar Festival (at which showcased two new tracks from our forthcoming EP 'Fluorescent Lights)', we are excited to announce two very special upcoming UK shows ahead of our November European shows.
On October 11th we will be headlining the Norwich Sound and Vision Label Showcase at Olives Cafe and Bar, Norwich. For this event we will be joined our Monotreme Records labelmates M+A and Niagara, who provide hooky dance electronic pop and psychadelic-tinged electro-guitar pop, respectively.
Just a few days shy of our European stint we will be providing main support to our Australian post-rock labelmates Sleepmakeswaves at top London venue Birthdays on November 3rd. Tickets to this show are available from We Got Tickets

After several months of writing, deleting and re-writing we have finally finished our second EP - hurrah! To celebrate we gave away two weekend camping tickets to LodeStar Festival, at which we will be performing two of the tracks featured on the new EP.
Our LodeStar performance will take place on Saturday 31st August at 4pm on the Aura Stage. Other acts from the lineup include Deaf Havana, Dragonette and Ryan Keep.
Following the completion of the EP we plan to embark on a European tour, starting on November 9th in Rotterdam, Netherlands. More dates and details of the EP release will be announced in the coming weeks.
